Anton Skrzypiciel

Performer

Anton Skrzypiciel is a Polish–Australian performer whose career spans dance, theatre, and film. Born in Melbourne, he trained at The Webber Douglas Academy for Dramatic Art and at the Laban Centre in London, developing a foundation that bridges actor’s craft with choreographic movement.
He has performed for leading choreographers including Sir Matthew Bourne in Nutcracker!, Arthur Pita in The Metamorphosis for The Royal Ballet, and most significantly, in a two-decade collaboration with Portuguese choreographer Rui Horta. His theatre work includes collaborations with Patricia Portela and João Garcia Miguel, while his screen credits range from the television series Equador to feature films such as Noiva Precisa-se.
Skrzypiciel has a longstanding working relationship with Alan Lucien Øyen, appearing in several of winter guests’ central productions. He performed in Coelacanth (2013), Jingle Horse! (2015), America Ep. 2: Psychopatriot (2016) and America Ep. 3: SuperAmateur (2017), works that toured widely and helped establish the company’s international presence. In addition to his work with winter guests, he also played a prominent part in Øyen’s creations for the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, including The Hamlet Complex (2018/2020) and Nothing Personal (2021), where his dual training as dancer and actor allowed him to move seamlessly between physicality and text-driven theatre.
Anton Skrzypiciel has worked on the following Winter Guests productions: SuperAmateur (2017), Psychopatriot (2016), Jingle Horse! (2015), and Coelacanth (2013).
