Enoch Grubb

Performer

Enoch Grubb (USA) trained at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, where he was valedictorian of the class of 2021, before moving to the Netherlands to study at Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. He graduated in 2025, performing works by Antonin Rioche, Cayetano Soto, and Ton Simmons, and was awarded the Corrie Hartong Dansfonds Scholarship in 2023.

Following graduation he joined tanzmainz as an apprentice, performing in History is Mostly Made of Flesh, Camera Obscura, In C, Underdog, and Trailer Park. Grubb first worked together with Alan Lucien Øyen during the creation of Underdog, (2024) for tanzmainz, where he was quickly recognised as an exceptional talent and was immediately invited to join winter guests in Antigone (2025).

Grubb is now focusing on developing his own choreographic practice — rooted in narrative, physical architecture, and personal movement language — alongside his performance work.

Enoch Grubb performs in the winter guests production Antigone (2025).
