Huy Le Vo - Performer

Huy Le Vo trained at The Norwegian Theatre Academy (Akademi for Scenekunst) in Fredrikstad, and works as an actor, theatre maker and dramaturge.  

He has performed with independent companies and theatres in Norway, including Den Nationale Scene, Riksteatret, Hålogaland Teater, Hege Haagenrud, Ulf Nilseng and Winter Guests, as well as The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK).  

As a theatre maker he has collaborated with Rebekka Nystabakk (Rebekka/Huy) for ten years, and their work has been presented at festivals and venues like Black Box teater, Avant Garden, BIT teatergarasjen, RAS, Dramatikkens hus, Litteraturhuset, Hålogaland Teater, Festspillene i Nord-Norge and Teater Ibsen.He has also worked as a dramaturge for Berstad/Helgebostad/Wigdel/Brun, Magnus Myhr and Jon Tombre.  

He received Work grants for younger artists in 2012, 2015 and 2016 from The Norwegian Government Grants for Artists (Statens kunstnerstipend).  

Huy performs in Bird in Magic Rain with Tears, Coelacanth, Jingle Horse and America Ep. 3: SuperAmateur.
